Two Utah HC players were recognized, as 27-year-old goalie Connor Ingram won the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy (which was announced in May), and 20-year-old Logan Cooley was named to the 2023-24 All-Rookie Team. Both players enjoyed breakout seasons, as the former was 23-21-3 with a 2.91 goals-against average, .907 save percentage and tied for the league lead with six shutouts, while the latter notched 20 goals and 24 assists while playing all 82 games of the season.

Now, the NHL Draft takes center stage, kicking off at 5 pm MT (7 pm ET) on Friday. General Manager Bill Armstrong and his staff own the sixth overall pick on Friday, and follow that up with 12 more on Saturday, including three each in both the second and third rounds.

Draft weekend is as unpredictable as it is fun, so stay tuned to The PBrown Hockey Report on Substack and across social media channels, as Patrick Brown will be covering the event from start to finish.
